How to access my subscription?
Once you've joined the subscription, all necessary information is available directly from your account.
Log in to Sharesub
Go to Subscriptions > Joined Subscriptions
On the relevant subscription, click "View details"
On this page, you'll find:
the access method to the subscription
the credentials or access link
the instructions left by the owner
access to the 💬 chat to exchange with the owner if needed.
Where to find my credentials or access link?
Login information is on the subscription page, in the Credentials > contextual help section.
You can find there:
login credentials (email and password)
an invitation or sharing link (to copy/paste into your browser)
or specific instructions depending on the service (e.g.: give your email to the owner so he can add you to his subscription).
👉 Each service works differently: it's normal for the access method to vary from one subscription to another.
Should I provide an email to the owner?
For some services (e.g. Spotify, Netflix, Disney+), access is by invitation.
In this case:
you must send the owner the email address used on the service in question
(it may be different from your Sharesub email)
simply send it via the subscription's dedicated 💬 chat (next to the "View details" button).
⏳ The owner can then add you to the group or send you the invitation.
What to do if the information seems incomplete or missing?
First, check:
If the subscription works by credentials or invitation or sharing link
The owner's messages on the 💬 chat of the subscription page
Your emails (including Promotions or Spam), especially if an invitation is expected.
👉 If an action on your part is necessary (email to provide, link to accept), the owner usually indicates it in the details on the subscription page.
🔑 What to do if the link or password doesn't work?
This can happen, for example if:
the password has been changed,
the invitation link has expired.
In this case:
Click on the 💬 chat from the subscription page
Inform the owner of the problem
Ask him to update the credentials or resend an invitation.
💬 Give him a few hours to respond: most situations are resolved quickly.
🕒 And if the owner doesn't respond?
If:
you've waited several hours,
and the subscription has been joined for more than 24 hours,
You can then:
open a claim directly from the page of the subscription in question (View details > Management > Report a problem)
and request a refund for the period in question.
⚠️ Important: contacting customer service by email or chat does not open a claim.
Only the procedure from the subscription in question is taken into account.
⭐️ Important tip before joining another subscription
If your access is being resolved:
avoid joining a second identical subscription,
if the first one ends up working, you'll be committed to both subscriptions for the month.
👉 Better to wait and open a claim if necessary.
