My subscription isn't working. How do I open a claim? 📝

Follow these steps to open a complaint if your subscription isn’t working and benefit from our co-subscriber protection.

Updated over a week ago

At Sharesub, we protect our co-subscribers to ensure subscriptions work as expected. If you're experiencing an issue, here’s how to open a complaint:

Step 1: Contact the Owner

Before opening a complaint, you must contact the subscription owner via chat. You have 72 hours after the issue occurs to reach out. If you don’t, you won’t be able to open a complaint.

Step 2: Go to "Joined Subscriptions"

  • Head to the "Joined Subscriptions" section on the platform.

  • Select the relevant subscription.

  • Click "View details", then go to the "Management" tab.

  • Click the "Complaint" button to report the issue.

Step 3: Open a Complaint

  • Select the reason for your complaint.

  • Click "Open a dispute".

  • You’ll have 24 hours to try resolving the issue with the owner.

Step 4: Resolution or Refund

  • If the owner resolves the issue within the time limit, you can close the complaint.

  • If the issue remains unresolved, you’ll be refunded for the affected period.

How to Close a Complaint

Once the situation is resolved, return to the subscription page and click "Close complaint".

Important:

  • Contacting our team via email or chat does not start a complaint. You must go through the platform to open a dispute.

  • Opening a complaint requires prior contact with the subscription owner.
