When will I pay for my subscription as a co-subscriber?

Find out when and how your subscription payment is processed as a co-subscriber on Sharesub, and your options if you leave the subscription.

🔹 Payment upon joining a subscription

When you join a subscription as a co-subscriber, you only pay for the remaining period until the end of the current month. This amount is calculated pro rata from your joining date.

👉 Example: If you join a subscription on June 15, you’ll only pay for the period from June 15 to June 30.

🔁 Automatic monthly renewal

All active subscriptions are automatically renewed on the 1st of each month.

  • You’ll be charged on that date unless you leave the subscription beforehand.

  • Important: The renewal is generated automatically at midnight UTC. If you leave a subscription on the 1st at 1 AM (Paris time), the payment may already have been triggered.


🔄 What if I leave the subscription ?

  • Before the 1st of the month

✔️ If you leave the subscription before the 1st, the renewal will not be generated.

👉 No new charge will be made.

  • After the 1st of the month

❌ If you leave after the 1st, the charge for the current month has already been processed and is non-refundable.

Any started month is considered fully due, in accordance with the platform’s terms.


📌 Can I change the billing date ?

No, it is not possible to choose or modify the billing date. The 1st of the month is a fixed rule that ensures the smooth operation of the service, including payments to subscription organizers.


❗ If there is a problem with the subscription

If the subscription doesn’t work properly (no access, invalid credentials, etc.), you can submit a complaint.

📩 Just follow these steps:

  • Go to your co-subscriber space;

  • Click the “Complaint” button;

  • Follow the steps to request a review or a pro-rata refund.

A member of the moderation team will process your request as soon as possible.
