How to access and share a Spotify subscription
Accessing a Spotify subscription
Joining a subscription:
Go to the Spotify Subscription Sharing page.
Choose the subscription type (Family or Duo) and select the owner.
Click “Subscribe” and follow the payment instructions.
Using your subscription:
Go to the Joined Subscriptions page.
Click “View details” and copy the invitation link.
Open the link in a new tab and log in to your Spotify account.
How Spotify subscription sharing works
Spotify Duo: Allows sharing with one co-subscriber.
Spotify Family: Allows sharing with up to 5 people.
Each member can use Spotify on up to 5 devices, but only one stream at a time per account.
Sharing your Spotify subscription
Set up your account:
Enter your postal address.
Copy the invitation link provided by Spotify and paste it on your shared subscription page to invite co-subscribers.
Manage members:
Go to “Manage members” under the Subscription tab and add or remove members.
Common issues and solutions
If the link has expired: Try opening it in private/incognito mode or request a new invitation.
Changing Spotify Family: You must wait 12 months before joining a new family. Use an email alias to bypass this restriction.
